Firstly, I would just like to introduce myself and say a little hello!
My name is Sarah and I am 17. I'm currently trying to fill my time from leaving sixth form a year early, after not enjoying the past year, and starting an apprenticeship at the end of September which is exciting.
Anyway lets get on with what this blog post is all about!
HIGH-END DAILY SKIN ROUTINE
I would just like to point out that all apart from one product is from the brand Decleor which I first came across when I first went to Centre Parcs spa, Aqua Sauna as they primarily use the Decleor and Elemis which they use for all of their treatments. After just the first time of visiting the spa three years ago, I became hooked and came home with a set of Decleor products with both full size and mini sized products that are all featured in this post.
Decleor is definitely on the pricey side of face products and at the end of the day it is just washing your face and getting on with the day - I know haha! However, in my opinion when it comes to your face, body and hair I believe that you should use the best products you are able to afford as you can't change what you have so you might as well treat it the best you can. MORNING
STEP ONE
The first product I use is the Decleor Aroma Cleanse 3-in-1 Hydra Radiance Smoothing & Cleansing 200ml tube priced at £30.00.
How I use the product:
I squeeze a small amount onto the tips of my fingers, run my fingers under warm water, rub my fingers together so the product is on both hands to then proceed to rub gently over my face. After this I use it as a little mask as i leave it on as I brush my teeth both in the morning and at night. Finally I use a damp muslin cloth (we have about a million as we used to use the Liz Earl cleanser which ALWAYS came with free muslin clothes so we have a whole basket full of them!) but any type of face cloth or flannel is absolutely fine and gently rub off all of the product on the surface of my face.
STEP TWO
After this I use my Decleor Aromessence Neroli Essential Super Serum 15ml priced at £44.00. Using serum is so good to use for your skin as it gets through all the layers of skin to ensure it is the right balance without your skin being too dry or too oily. If your skin is too much one way or another you can buy serums and moisturiser that specifically targets what your skin needs. I use the Neroli Range as I have combination/hormonal skin which helps combat spots and both oily and dry patches.How I use the product:
I tip the bottle up securing it with a finger three times so I have three different spots of the serum on my fingers to them go on and massage the serum into my face. The best thing is that you can alter the amount you put onto your fingers whether your face is dry (you will need slightly more, 4 or 5 spots of product) or already nice and hydrated (you may only need 2 spots, depending) but three spots is recommended.
STEP THREE
The third step I take in the morning is my mini It's Potent! eye cream from Benefit. The mini is currently available from Boots for £5.00 and the full sized version is 14.2g priced at £25.50. I have only very recently bought this (will be featured in my next post) so I am yet to see the benefits from it (ha accidental pun there). Eye cream has huge benefits as the area under the eye is the thinest area of skin on the face so it needs looking after. Eye cream also can help prevent the look of anti-aging and the reducing of under eye circles.How I use the product:
First I put my little finger into the pot (I have fat fingers so thats the only finger I can fit in because its only a mini pot of it haha) to get a small amount of product out and pat it gently around a finger nail lengths down from my eye all around onto the boney bit above the eye so that it is in the prime place for the product to work properly. I then repeat for my other eye!
STEP FOUR
Finally, I'm coming to the end of the morning routine of skin care, luckily my evening skin care routine is way quicker!
For moisturiser I use the Decleor Hydra Floral Multi-Protection Light Cream 50ml priced at £39.50. Again moisturiser is a great way to reduce dry and oily skin if you choose the correct product for you. This moisturiser is designed to seal in the serum used previously to help the serum work its magic and not just sit on top of the skin. Another bonus to using moisturiser is that it helps make up not look cakey on the skin which is ALWAYS a big plus!
How I use the product:
Much like the eye cream, I dip my finger into the pot making sure I have just enough to cover my face, no more as it is just wasting product as my face won't need the extra so will eventually sink into the skin but the extra won't make a difference. Again, like with the serum I use my fingertips to massage the moisturiser into my face to help my skin soak up the moisturising goodness!

STEP SEVEN
Finally, for the seventh and final step for the day, I use the Decleor Aroma Night Aromessence Neroli Essential Night Balm 15ml priced at £32.50. The great use of a night balm is to soften the skin after a busy day with lovely essential oils to help you sleep.
How I use the product:
I use the night balm just like I do the moisturiser however, the moisturiser in cream form and much like the name suggests, this night balm is in balm form, think lip balm, just for your face!

All of the Decleor products have been a mix of birthday and christmas presents or my own buys for repurchases and they all last a good, long amount of time which reinforces my point of them being totally worth the prices.
